Why we love it
Journaling is great for a positive mind set, focusing on the positive aspects of the day and sets good practice as children grow. Mental health is so important and we’ve started a routine of completing this journal with our 4 year old daughter in the evening reflecting on her day. It gives us a chance to really talk about her day and her emotions, especially in preparation for her starting school in September. There are pages focused on emotions and family, as well as opportunities to colour and draw, which gives a sense of ownership of the journal.
