When choosing the products we sell, sustainability is one of the most important things we look for. This means more than being eco friendly, with there being social & economic benefits in the end to end production.

Bajo use wood from sustainable forestry in Poland, as well as waste material from furniture & parquet production. The toys are designed to be long lasting, and being passed down through generations prevents the use of new resources.
The toys are all handmade in Poland, this makes a positive impact on the local community, they care about their employees and pay them fairly.
Single use plastic has nearly been eliminated from all tender leaf products & packaging. The products are made from reclaimed rubber wood which is a by product of the latex industry. As well as this, for each tree used, a new one is planted ensuring a sustainable supply for the future.
Tender leaf toys are made in a family run factory in Indonesia, which operates with high standards of training, wellbeing and respect and provides dependable employment for hundreds of local villagers.
From raw wood to the finished product, every single stage of production happens in the same family-run factory. Once each toy has been hand-painted, assembled and checked, it is wrapped in paper and packaged in recycled cardboard.
